Cabin Fever

This June we went to a cabin for a week with the Roehl family. The entire week was sunny and beautiful. We stayed on a lake with a sandy beach out the back yard. We all had a wonderful time and can't wait to do it again.

This is the start of the trip. As you can see, we packed everything including the kitchen sink! (Actually, grandma Donna rode with us so everything you see was hers!!!)

Ahh... fresh air!
Where's my whistle!!!
Nick bought a jetski while we were at the cabin. He figured it would be cheaper to buy one than to rent one for the week. Turned out to be a great deal as he sold it right before the 4th of July for more money than he bought it. Everyone enjoyed their turn riding, driving and tubing and skiing behind the jet ski. (except Noelle... see pic below)

Mason after tubing. He hesitated to get on but once he did, we had a hard time getting him off. On the days we don't make it to the lake, he pretends to tube in the back yard.

An eventful summer for Noelle... 6 months pregnant with a 9 month old. We wish you luck next summer!

Miss Megan absolutely loved the water. She lounged, played, splashed... a fish after Madi's heart... Luke, on the other hand, enjoyed observing from the dock.

Bathing beauties!!!

Mason had so much fun with his cousins, especially Ryan. He finally had a buddy that he could play boy games with and act crazy with. The two of them were like long-time brothers. You would never guess the distance apart in miles that we live.

Nothing like a good smooch for Steph!

Madi was in the water so
much she nearly grew fins!

The whole gang!

On the way home, the axle on our boat trailer got bent (CURB!) and needed some readjustments. Matt's brother, Nick and his creative mind, borrowed a sign to help bend it back into place.
