We had a bridal shower for my sister, Kristin, last weekend. My other sisters (Jenny and Melissa) and my mom had fun planning and preparing for it. Of course, with Kristin and Pat's huge love for food and fancy new recipes, mom felt that she was up for a challenge. Mom stayed up making food until late hours of the night. I guess when you raise five kids some things just never change!

Mexican Rubbed Pork Tenderloin with a Bourbon Ancho Sauce, Sweet Potato Tomales with Pecan Butter and Corn on the Cob with Chipolte Lime Butter are just a few items that were on the menu. Everything was fabulous... call Jan for recipes!Three weeks earlier, a group of 12 ladies spent the weekend together in Chicago for the bachelorette party. We made many fun memories!
To Kristin's surprise, this big SUV limo picked us up at the airport and took us to the hotel. 
Kristin's gift to all of her lady peeps was a pair of these very stunning underwear that said "GET 'ER DONE" on one side and "September 27, 2008" with a martini glass on the other. We modeled them later that weekend but they didn't make the cut!!! :) 
It rained most of the day on Saturday but that didn't stop anyone from having a great time!
We ate dinner at a very swanky (Kristin's word) steakhouse called the Landmark Grille... DELICIOUS! In honor of Pat, we took pictures of ALL of the food, too many to post.
