State Fair
We took a trip to the state fair last week and had lots of fun with the kids. We brought our niece, Theda, with us and met Grandma Donna and a friend of hers too. The kids enjoyed a few rides, touched the animals, got tatoos, milked a cow and pretended to "work on the farm"... whew, and they still didn't fall asleep in the car on the ride home!
Like I said, all of the kids enjoyed getting a tatoo!
It was Luke's first time seeing and hearing real animals... he loved it so much he hasn't stopped "moo-ing," "neigh-ing," "oink-ing," "baa-ing," and even an occasional "meow" since. He refuses to go to bed every night without reading a book about farm animals first.
Wondering about the role reversal? Mason refused to let someone pick him up and he couldn't reach the face on the left. Theda was a trooper and agreed to be the stud ropin' the cow!
